Two major changes. From January 2025, the claim filing window dropped from 18 months to 60 days — any claim filed after this is permanently rejected. From March 2025, Amazon switched reimbursements from estimated sale value to manufacturing cost. Without accurate cost evidence submitted with each claim, Amazon uses its own internal estimate, which typically lands below actual production cost.

There are two ways to work with us, and both run on the same files: you export your standard reports from Seller Central and upload them. With Leviathan Recon you take it from there yourself: Recon runs on those files and cannot place orders, change listings, or move funds. It rebuilds your unit ledger per FNSKU and flags the FNSKUs where Amazon's balance and yours disagree. With reimbursement recovery we do that work for you, from those same uploads: we audit them daily, prepare the manufacturing-cost documentation, file each claim by hand inside the 60-day window, and appeal denials. You get monthly statements of the claims filed and their outcomes. Anything beyond that is agreed with you in writing first.

Leviathan Recon is our self-serve inventory reconciliation software. You export your own reports from Seller Central and upload them, and Recon rebuilds your unit ledger per FNSKU, then sets it against the balance Amazon reports for that same FNSKU. Each FNSKU comes back with a status you read on screen — Matched, Over, Reimbursed, Take Action, or No Snapshot — and the rows behind the figures are there to open. It suits sellers who want their own numbers in front of them and want to work the discrepancies themselves. You sign up and verify your email with the code we send. We provision your workspace by hand, so your login details arrive by email within one business day — and the 14 days start then, rather than when you submit the form. There is no credit card at any point. During the trial you upload your own Amazon reports and see your own reconciliation results, and what you find is yours to export and keep. Reimbursement recovery is a separate service and is not part of the trial.

Leviathan Recon starts with a free 14-day trial and no card on file; access afterwards is quoted on your account size and the marketplaces you sell in, and we send you the numbers before anything starts. Reimbursement recovery is commission-only: you pay a percentage of what we actually recover, and nothing if we recover nothing. Automated bulk-filing tools were designed for the old 18-month window and pre-2025 reimbursement model. They submit claims from templates, at volume, without the customised manufacturing-cost documentation current policy asks for. Leviathan Sellers files each claim by hand instead, with manufacturing-cost documentation prepared for that specific claim rather than generated from a template.

Leviathan Recon runs on reports you export yourself: there is no API connection to your account and no credential of yours for Recon to hold. Recon reads the files you upload. It cannot place orders, change listings, move funds, or act in your account.

We work to Amazon's published policies. Reimbursement claims are prepared and filed by hand through Amazon's own case system, with the manufacturing-cost documentation its 2025 policy requires, and we don't use bulk-automation filing or grey-hat tools.
